- LOOPS
- Green (CAT. #3290-GR)
- This loop is used primarily in removing cerumen from the receiver tube on ITE instruments and earmold tubing on BTE instruments.
- Orange (CAT. #3290-O)
- Similar to the Green Loop, but a stronger wire when more force is required.
- PICKS
- Pink (CAT. #3290-P)
- This is the finest wire of the three picks and is used primarily for removal of debris from the microphone and receiver ports.
- Gold (CAT. #3290-G)
- This pick is used for removal of wax baskets from the receiver tube and ITE instruments.
- Silver (CAT. #3290-S)
- This pick is used for prying loose batteries that are stuck in the ITE and BTE instruments. The sharp hook is inserted on the negative side for removal.
- BRUSHES
- White (CAT. #3290-W)
- This brush has the stiffest bristle and is used for cleaning foreign deposits from hearing aids. The brush is also recommended for cleaning 10A and 312 battery contacts. It may be used with a slight amount of rubbing alcohol for added cleaning ability.
- Red (CAT. #3290-R)
- Similar to the White Brush, but the bristles are longer and softer. In addition to the uses listed above, the brush is also useful for cleaning debris out of the microphone opening.
- Blue (CAT. #3290-BL)
- This brush is used for cleaning battery contacts on 13A and 675 size compartments.
- Black (CAT. #3290-BK)
- This is a short bristled brush that is tapered. It is useful in cleaning vents on ITE instruments.
- Brown (CAT. #3290-BR)
- This brush is similar to the Black Brush but the bristles are stiffer and is used for cleaning vents and inside the earmold tubing.
- Yellow (CAT. #3290-Y)
- This brush is small and is used to clean vents where the other brushes will not fit.
- Tan (CAT. #3290-T)
- The brush has soft, fine bristles and is used on delicate parts. It is also useful for cleaning the inside tubing on 3 mm and 4 mm tubes.
